The 2019 Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League (Chinese Super League or CSL in short) kicked off on March 1^st, followed by the opening ceremony taking place next day in the main stadium of Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre with the attendance of nearly 40,000 fans. This is the 16^thseason since the establishment of the Chinese Super League and the third consecutive year that Absen LED has been involved.

Looking back, 2018 was a significant year for Chinese football as Shanghai SIPG ended Guangzhou Evergrande’s seven-year dominance and claimed their first-ever trophy. However, the loss of Shanghai SIPG’s top goal scorer, Wu Lei, who currently plays for RCD Espanyol in La Liga, will no doubt have a huge impact on their chances of retaining the title.

The 2019 season began on March 1^st and is scheduled to end on 30 November. Shenzhen have enjoyed the Chinese Super League Opening Ceremony very much especially when Shenzhen Kaisa FC beat Hebei CFFC with a 3:1 on the opening battle.

Shenzhen fans have a good reason to be that excited as it was Shenzhen FC’s first CSL game at home after they returned to CSL. On November 3, 2018, Shenzhen FC beat Zhejiang Yiteng with a sweeping 5-0 win at home on the last day of the season 2018. The meaningful victory secured Shenzhen FC the second place in the Chinese Football Association China League and earned the team a promotion to CSL 7 years after it was relegated.

The Chinese FA Cup is the national knockout cup competition in China organized by the Chinese Football Association and the preliminary round begins in March 9. Absen provided perimeter display solutions to 16 Chinese FA Cup games in 2018, and will continue to service the competition from 2019 to 2021.
