As one of the fastest growing churches in the U.S., Action Church has become a community fixture in local Orlando areas including Oviedo, Sanford and Winter Garden. Most recently, Action Church expanded its reach when it opened its newest location in Winter Park, FL this past November as its first large, non-mobile location.

“We exist here at the church to reach people where they are and connect into everything that God has for their life,” said Parker Womack, Worship Pastor for Action Church. “Through all of our worship experiences that we have here, the goal is to bring people into the presence of God through all the systems that we create.”

As its dedicated broadcast location that seats up to 1,000 worshippers in the main sanctuary, Action Church had high expectations to the level of AV technology that would be installed to ensure each sermon was well presented to its worships both near and far. To help create a captivating and moving experience for its worshipers, Action Church worked closely with AVL integration company, Crown Design Group (CDG), who brought in some of the industry’s top technology solutions in lighting, audio and video.

One of the top desires from the church was to create a ‘Wow’ moment as each worshipper walked in to the room. In order to accomplish this, CDG utilized Absen’s Polaris 3.9mm LEDsolution to create both a large center video wall as well as several individual columns surrounding it.

“It was of high importance to have an LED wall that looked great on camera as well as be stunning visually in person.” said Garrett Walker, Co-owner of Crown Design Group. “Everywhere you look, people will see and hear a level of excellence which Absen fit very well into that.” In addition to Absen, CDG installed an L-Acoustics Kara rig, an Allen & Heath dLive system, and an Elation Lighting System.
