The 2019 Chinese Women’s Super League (CWSL) kicked off on July 13 in the Benyuan Stadium of Zhengzhou University with attendance of more than 4,000 audience. The hosts Henan Huishang made an impressive start with a shock 2-0 win over holders Dalian F.C at the opener. The 2019 season of Chinese Women’s Super League is the league’s 5th season in its current incarnation, and the 23rd total season of the women’s association football league in China. The 2019 CWSL is contested by eight teams in 56 matches of 14 rounds. The eight teams include the defending champions Dalian F.C and the other seven teams, Jiangsu Suning, Changchun Rural Commercial Bank, Wuhan Jianghan University, Shanghai W.F.C, Beijing Enterprise Phoenix, Henan Huishang and Meizhou Huijun FC. The last match of 2019 season will play on September 22.

2019 will be a new start for Chinese Women Football.
